Team Tidbits!

German Sunday rider Christian Ziegler is having the grand opening of his new shop called Alliance TOMORROW March 29th in Bremen Germany. Check out his shop's website here and its myspace right here. Christian can be seen in the new Electronical video riding the curved bench thing in Berlin!

More Germany news, Dominik Wrobel from Woozy sent us me some photos of his bike for all of us to enjoy.

Ian Schwartz has made his way back to Ohio to enjoy some of the flooding in the Ohio Valley region. Well enjoy is the wrong word to use, he got tired of it quick and headed over to San Francisco to do something with Lotek. Did you guys see Ian's interview in the latest Ride US? Did you see his fakie hop of the MACBA big 4? Would you believe 2 tries?

My bad photo of Ian's fakie hop.

Your's truly is recovered in record time from 2 broken legs, I believe it was only 15 minutes. Amazing! Actually, I'm celebrating a birthday today. Can you believe 35? I know I can't! This is a photo of the beard I grew since leaving Barcelona in January. It was trimmed moments after the photo was shot. Check out my shoe that's coming out in June over at the Beloe site!

Self Portrait

Aaron Ross is recovering from an Austin to California roadtrip. He ended up separating his shoulder pretty good, so he's going to take it easy for another week or so. Hope its a speedy recovery. In his frame news, drawings are done and submitted, so we should see a prototype real soon.

Aaron moments before going to the LA Electronical premier.

Did anyone see Kurt Rasmusson in the new ODI video online? Then there's this other one where he tears up SF. What about Kurt's opposite feeble to feeble sequence in the Sunday in Barcelona article in the newest Ride US? Guess what Ian and Kurt have in common? If you guessed second try then you'd be right! Look for it in the Sunday video!

Kurt prepared for the day in Barcelona.

New Sunday Bars!

Sunday is proud to announce that we will be offering a new bar that is equivalent to a Triumph, but with 4 degrees of upsweep. It will be named the Forumph. Why give a Triumph bar with 3 more degrees of upsweep a totally different name? Well, Triumph height is 8" at the ends while this new bar measures in at 8.32". Weird!

That's what I was saying! So what's the bar height if you cut them down a few inches? What about if I have a bar height of 8.32, but with no upsweep? Or if I have 8 degrees of upsweep on a Triumph, won't they be 8.5" tall? Isn't this all confusing? Well that's how BMX measure its bars.

Sweet Casts!

Hey you might've seen the photo on the left elsewhere on the internet, it ended up being a really good and very early April Fool's joke! My legs are totally fine, well, not really, but they aren't broken right now. I have to deal with some plantar fasciitis which is common cause of heal pain. They made these casts on my feet so I can wear them when I sleep. Sounds like fun! Incidentally I'm getting ankle surgery to remove a bone spur in two weeks.

Vinnie bike check!

Vinnie Sammon sent me over some pictures of his bike set up for his bike check. He is currently riding a prototype Second Wave frame in Vinnie black with his sticker kit. He's also got a pair of Vinnie bars and his Animal Vinnie sprocket. He's been hanging out in Jersey waiting for spring just like the rest of us. Only 2 more days!

In the second photo, you can see a good close up of his Vinnie sticker along with...guess what? I know this is going to light up the comment section, but if you guess shaved headtube then you are right. Well the shaved headtube has been absolutely fine since the beginning of October. Let me tally the days....1, 2, 3, 4.......170 days! Wow, its still going! I bet most headsets don't even last that long these days. Rustproof headsets might be needed.

Aaron Ross Update!

Aaron Ross has been a busy man lately and will be busy for the next few months. Currently he's on a trip from Austin to California in the Odyssey van filming for the upcoming Sunday video. Then he's going on the next Roadfools with fellow team rider Kurt Rasmusson in April. Immediately following the trip, he will be off to Brazil for the X Games.

Now that you are caught up with Aaron's schedule, go check out the Etnies site for a few more things on Aaron. First is a video bike and shoe check. Next he shows you how to do a bunnyhop tailwhip. Knowing Aaron he did all the lines first try. Last go over to BMXonline and see his photo bike check.

And special thanks goes out to Dylan Landy who sent over this picture he drew of Aaron for school.

Karl Poynter RideBMX Cover!

Great news from Indiana, Karl Poynter got the cover of the newest RideBMX magazine! The photo was shot on Sunday's recent video excursion to Barcelona, so look for that and Ian's interview in the same issue. Good Job, Karl!

Odyssey Electronical Premier in Buffalo!

That's right this Saturday is the Buffalo premier for Odyssey's Electronical video. You can see full parts from Sunday riders Aaron Ross and Jim Cielencki as well as Josh Betley's shared part with Jim Bauer. Soundlab is an amazing venue, so go here to get directions from the venue or go here to see the mapquest version. See you there!

Oh and its free!

Ian Schwartz Bike Check!

There's been quite a few Ian Schwartz bike check requests lately and I'm glad to bring it to you. Ian's had a lot of luck escaping the winter this year. These photos were shot during a recent Sunday video filming trip in Austin. He's actually flying out of Phoenix back home to Columbus today. Look for his interview in an upcoming issue of RideBMX. I think you'll like it!

Mike Taylor knee update!

Mike Taylor is recovering nicely from knee surgery, so nicely in fact that he is testing it by putting it down through this turn. Yeah, Mike went out and bought one of these motorcylces. He's been witnessed on youtube terrorizing the UK country roads via helmet cam. Look for Mike to be back terrorizing the BMX scene this summer!

Sunday loves to please you guys just as long as you ask real nice. So you're probably wondering why this update has a number 20 written in Aquafresh toothpaste? Well, its not because a polyhedron with twenty faces is called an icosahedron.. It's because after some hasty internet discussion about us not doing 20 inch Second Waves. Well we've decided to do the new frames in 20 inch. So light up the message boards and get your prebooks ready because the 20 inch size has been brought back to life!

Jake Seeley WEB edit!

Jake Seeley shown with fellow Sunday rider Alex Magallan has an amazing video over on Defgrip, so follow the link to check it out. There was a good amount of hype that I was calling around trying to get a early peak of it. Didn't get to see it, but I'm glad I waited. Look for him to have a full part in the next Manmade Clothing video. Both Jake and Alex were on the Sunday flow team trip from Phoenix to Austin. From the footage I saw, you'll want to check them out both out in the upcoming Sunday video too!
