Mike Taylor's good, huh?

I believe Mike Taylor is fully recovered from his knee surgery last year especially after watching this web video! I'm pretty sure this was edited by Joe Cox, too.

Sunday! making kids fat!

A few weeks ago, we had a contest on the site where we gave away an ice cream sundae similar to the one in Aaron Ross's first Sunday ad. Here is what our winner Kyle Ruschell had to say about eating all that ice cream.

"Heres some pictures. We had to go to Target to buy the big bowl for $5. It was 4 Everybody sizes, and it ended up being just over $30 haha. I got a 3 friends to help me with it, and we barely put a dent in it. It was 1/4 chocolate, 1/4 cookie batter, 1/4 cheesecake, and 1/4 mint ice creams. It was covered in chocolate sauce, m&ms, rainbow sprinkles, grahm cracker crumbs, and whipped cream. Its in my freezer right now, Ill finish it off someday. Thanks again Jim!

Black Magic Morning 2.1 Forks!

We've had black, blue, white and grey Morning 2.1 Forks available, but now I'm proud to say that the Black Magic version arrived the other day! Quality control is done, so they should be available in the next week, so be on the look out. Also, look for Triumph bars in blue and Black Magic, too!

Jim C on BMXonline!

BMXonline has a little interview with me about making video sections. The photo was shot by Jeff Z about a year and a half ago. I had been really interested in doing whips, barspins and 360 fakies on the steepest banks possible. I had already did a barspin on it awhile back, but I wanted to whip it. This whip in LA ended up being the steepest I've done.

A behind the scenes story from this night include the sprinklers turning on right as we finished setting up. It was disappointing because I had worked myself up to see if it was possible and now with the water in the way it was going to be very difficult to do. Mike Hoder ended up using his hoodie to clean up the water and try and make a dam, but it only worked for so long. You can the watermarks on the lower part of the bank and Mike's hoodie in the background to the right. This is one of my favorite spots in LA even though the banks are really slippery.

Guadalajara Street Jam Video

In late May and early June, Aaron Ross, Jake Seeley, Ian Schwartz, Kurt Rasmusson and myself were down in Guadalajara Mexico riding, filming and eating sno-cones! We had a street jam at this amazing spot and you can see the video that Chad Shackelford made of the jam by clicking on the photo to the left!

Jake Seeley's new ride!

Jake Seeley just built up a 20.75 Black Magic Second Wave shaved headtube PROTOTYPE. He's helping me test out the new batch of samples that we just received. My bike also has one if you didn't notice then just scroll down a few posts and check it out. Our original samples from Interbike never had the properly machined headtubes. Once the proper ones were figured out, it was time to make prototypes again. Enjoy Jake's bike!

Aaron Ross Bike Checks?

Aaron Ross just built up his prototype signature frame called the Funday and here are two photos of it. His colorway this time isn't just one bright neon color, but he decided he'd mix the yellow and red together. I like the two different color rims myself, but its too bad his front brake isn't neon red too. What? Front brake?

Well, wait there's two different set ups going on here. What's going on here? Aaron with front brakes? But the lower photo doesn't have front brakes. Which way is he riding? He's not riding front brakes in the photos below. What's he got up his sleeve. I only heard about it, so you'll have to wait and see.

In other Aaron news, he's heading to the ESPY Awards next week in Los Angeles to hang out with Tiger Woods. Hoping he gets to meet up with Jerome Iginila and Alexander Ovechkin, but I don't know if that will happen. Then he's back in Austin for a week and again back out to Los Angeles to ride in X Games 14. Sounds like a hectic, but fun schedule! Wish him luck and enjoy the two photos below.

Forumph Bars in stock!

The taller brother of the Sunday Triumph bar named the Forumph arrived in the warehouse this week! These two differ by upsweep and overall height only, Triumphs are 1 degree while Forumphs are 4 degrees. What ends up happening is the overall height goes from 8 inches to 8.32 inches just by changing the upsweep. They will be available in Black Magic and White. Look for them at your shop in the next 2 weeks!

New T-shirts!

Two new Sunday shirts will be available in the next 2 weeks! The left one is a sunday! logo repeated using black halftone dots on a teal shirt. Upclose the halftone isn't as visible, but as you move away from the shirt sunday! starts to appear. Notice how you can't read the logo at the bottom of the screen, but as you get to the top sunday! becomes more visible.

While the right one is our classic Word Bubble shirt with Sunday written in Spanish. This one is a discharge print on a purple heather shirt which makes the Word Bubble a minty green. All these shirts are printed on American Apparel. Look for more softgoods soon!

And the winner is.....

Kyle Ruschell from Lexington, Kentucky!!! He will be enjoying some ice cream from Sundae! ...ah...Sunday! Look for a photo of him and his giant ice cream sometime in the future. No more scouring the archives for the photos of Aaron's frame. The 3 colors shown are samples and we are not sure which one Aaron will go with. Any thoughts?

PS Oh and Aaron's frame has a shorter rear end, different cable guides and a lower BB than the other Sunday frames. More info later on!
