Warm Red Second Wave!

warm-red-2nd-wave

Here it is, the latest color added to our Second Wave line up!  Warm Red accompanies blue, grey and Black Magic this year.  The story behind this color is that when I was growing up Brian Blyther was the man.  Easily the most casul and smoothest rider during that time period.  Sort of like Mike Aitken today.  Oh sure tricks could be learned quickly, but to learn to ride like him takes a lifetime.  Well, Brian Blyther rode a warm red/coral red frame for most of his time.  With that, we went and did a Blyther infuenced colorway for the Second Waves this year.  Warm Red is now available along with the rest of the 2009 line.  More photos below!

Jim C from the Year 2000!

jc2000

Check out some photos old photos from way back at Jared Souney‘s website.  These were shot on the first Kink tour back in 2000.  These photos were shot at old Shebang Skatepark in Erie, PA towards the end of the trip.  That tour was my first demo tour and the best memory was seeing the Leprechaun billowing white smoke somewhere in the mountains of Pennslyvannia!

Jeremy Davis Bike Check

One of the coolest things about doing Sunday is being able to hook up the people you respected growing up.  Jeremy Davis was well known years back, but life took over, so he hasn’t been around much lately.  Well, he’s back riding and I heard he might even have some clips in the Goods video that is being filmed as we speak.  Check out his video part from Shad Johnson’s Blueprint video and realize that he is one of the few people that can be allowed to ride to AC/DC.

Lee Dennis Bike Check!

leedennisbikecheck

Lee Dennis‘s blue 2nd Wave with matching Forumphs and Morning 2.1 forks looks really good, huh?  Flower Power is one quote about it on Facebook. Having great photos to do a bike check is so awesome. You know what else is awesome? The BMXFU premiere that’s coming up on January 17th. For more info on Lee, BMXFU or anything else going on around Niagara Falls go check out their scene website Niagara St. Lee, Greg D’amico, Andrew White and Scott Barker actually are heading out to California today for a week. Look for some photos and such as the week goes on.

Jake and Karl in Mega Tour 8!

Jake Seeley

Jake Seeley: Icepick to 180

Check out this photo of Jake Seeley doing a bleacher ice to 180 from Mega Tour 8! Jake wasn’t the only Sunday rider on the tour, Karl Poynter went on it also. Karl went with QBP and Jake went for The Come Up. In fact, if you want to buy the video which released December 15th, you could even go to The Come Up and buy it there! Photo shot by Keith Romanowski. To see more check out his website/flickr.

Poached Aaron Ross photos!

Aaron Ross

Aaron Ross sent over some photos of him riding the trails at 9th Street in Austin. To be honest, the photos were poached from Kyle McElligott‘s Flickr page. He’s got a whole slew of photos from 9th Street so go check them out. If you haven’t already heard, Aaron’s new frame entitled the Funday is currently in some freight truck on its way to your favorite shop. Hold on it will be there soon!

Ian Schwartz Yellow Check?

Ian Schwartz's Yellow Bike

Ian Schwartz sent me some photos of his Post-It Note Yellow signature frame remixed into this honey mustard/ketchup colorway. He seems to always have something interest going on with his setups and this is no exception. Look for more stuff from him out of San Francisco because he decided to stay there permanently or until he catches the farming bug again. Not only is this frame available now, but so are the matching Triumph bars and Morning 2.1 forks! Is there a fakie hill bomb coming too?

Cruiser blast!

A few days ago, I was riding back from watching the Sabres game when I happened upon this random construction pile of mess. These spots are the best because they only last for a short period so you have to make use of them right away. It was cold as hell outside, not sure how that works cause hell is generally thought of as hot. Either way the cold alleviated my tendinitis long enough for my friend Jay to shoot a couple of random shots. The pile might be there tonight, I’ve got my fingers crossed.
