Jake Seeley riding sunglasses?

This photo is just too good not to show.  Here Jake Seeley becomes the third rider to finish the Gauntlet of Death at Texas Toast over the weekend. There were so many fun and weird obstacles including a giant pair of Oakley Frogskins and this huge Vans slip on.  Thanks again to Jeff Z and Ride BMX for this photo.

Gary Young likes Texas Toast!

Gary Young had a great weekend here in Austin.  Not only did he have a lot of fun at the Texas Toast Jam (just like everyone else), but he took him the win in Pro Dirt and the EmpireBMX Curved Wallride contest.  Big Congrats go out to Gary!!!  Here he is with the winning move, opposite wallride to 270 out.  The wall was  really weird and this was really difficult to do.  First try! Thanks to Jeff Z and Ride for the photo.  More Texas Toast coverage coming.

Here today, gone tomorrow!

Ride your spots today because they might be gone tomorrow.  This Wave-C carve on this narrow tight tranny in Austin has been rendered unrideable right now.  The building has been vacant for a long time, but not anymore.  This photo is from a month ago and I remember saying that I should come back for it.  Luckily, I did it that day.

Check out the Gif of this image in the Sunday banner and an interview with me at Old Guys Who Ride right HERE.

Alex Magallan Bonus at Buck’s

I stopped by Buck’s Bikes in Austin yesterday to hang out with Seth Peterson and to check out the new Alex Magallan/Maximum Destruction EX Bonus bike that they had on their floor.  This bike is awesome!  Flame stickers, orange rims and an amazing Odyssey Twisted PC pedal colorway make this bike hard to beat.  Sunday Bonus bikes are one of a kind and are only offered for a short amount of time.  We will be offering them a few times a year with two more coming June 4th!

Jake Seeley Update

Jake Seeley has been out in California for awhile filming for an upcoming webvideo.  Fresh crook 180s and fresh boxers!

Gary Young on Built to Shred

Not sure how many people have seen this, but Gary Young took on the Surf Rail of Death during our LAX to ATX trip back in the fall.  This rail was so scary and Gary was the only one brave enough to attempt it.  He ended up getting hurt before he was able to pull it.  Gary is tough as nails!  Check out the full episode on the Built to Shred site HERE.

Check out Gary’s 2011 complete bike line HERE.

Alex & Garrett in new Dig

Alex Magallan and Garrett Reeves has some good photos in Dig issue 82. Alex has some photos in the Caribbean article while Garrett has a drop in gone wrong in the G-Sport LA trip article.  Sneak shot of this below.  Check this issue out!
