Brett Silva
Welcome to Sunday

I’m super excited to welcome Brett Silva to Sunday!

It’s a big deal adding somebody to a team – you’ve got to travel with that person and hang around him constantly, ride with him, eat with him, share hotel room with him, sit in a van for hours on end…. it’s a serious commitment, and if you pick the wrong guy it can be a nightmare. The Sunday team gets along so well as-is, there’s a ton of pressure to keep the good vibes going.

When I started asking the Sunday riders what they thought about putting Brett on the team, every response I got was 100% positive. Of course it was – Brett is a ridiculously talented bike rider, and he’s got to be one of the easiest dudes to get along with ever. Super chill, super positive, and without a bad word to say about anybody. Really this was a no brainer.

I think we’re all looking forward to getting to chill with Brett over the coming months and years, and of course really looking forward to getting to watch him ride. This is gonna be awesome.

Check out Brett’s welcome video, and don’t worry, you’ll be seeing plenty more from him soon.

Julian Arteaga
Welcome to the Flow Team

View Gallery

All of us at Sunday are excited to welcome Julian Arteaga to the Sunday flow team. His close friend and fellow SoCal youngin Jacob Cable summed Julian’s riding up nicely: “He’s got one of the smoothest styles ever and makes everything look so good.” After seeing his videos for the past year and riding with him a bunch last week, I couldn’t agree more. Julian is a treat to watch ride, and he’s a positive dude to be around as well, so I think we did a fine job on this one. Oh, and his part in the upcoming Common video will surely not disappoint. Stoked to have him on board!

Erik Elstranded in Denver

Hit play to watch the feel good video of the winter. It looks like they were snowed-in for most of Erik’s stay in Denver but it also looks like that didn’t matter one bit.

Elstran flew into denver during a snowstorm. Out of the 10 days he was here we really only rode one of them. That didn’t stop us from having a great time. We beat Super Mario World (96*), Mario RPG (Culex defeated), and Donkey Kong Country 3. We played ping pong, cooked pizza and tacos, and watched The Office. It was a great time. Can’t wait to have ya back out bud!

Alex Magallan

Longtime Sunday Pro Alex Magallan has stepped down from riding BMX professionally so he can focus on the next chapter of his life. This does not mean that Alex is fully done shredding though, which is good because Alex’s style of riding is a great thing to watch. Fast and unique lines are what Alex is all about. Thanks for everything Alex, we wish you and your family all the best.

Above we have Alex’s section from our 2009 Up Up and Away video. Click below to check out a bunch of Alex Magallan ads and other assorted videos he’s been in.
