Alex Magallan:
Emerald Video

What more can be said about Alex Magallan’s riding?  He kills it in this video! His riding is super fast and clean on all types of terrain. This video was filmed sporadically over a 2 year period by Chris Mahaffey and Francis Delapena. With how fast tricks evolve today, Alex’s riding is almost timeless.  Some clips were filmed in 2009, but are totally relevant today.  Enjoy!!!

Tom Arkus:
AZ Vacation

Tom Arkus took a break from watching the Steelers games to enjoy the warm weather of Arizona.  He twittered about all the amazing spots he was riding during the trip just to make us jealous.  Tom rides everything in this video including a rarely seen handrail from Tom.  Below are a few of his words about the trip.  Look for his red Conductor bike check coming up soon!

Arizona is one of my favorite winter get aways. The riding is premium, so is the weather. I try my hardest to make it out at least once a year to spend some time with my friend Chase Zink. Not to mention all the other friends that I get to hang out with. This video was filmed in about 6 days. The riding schedule was pretty serious. We would wake up really early some days to get some runs in the parks that don’t let bikes in.  I hope this motivates you to go out and shred.

Rad Santa!

That’s right Santa gets rad! Well, maybe just everyone over here at Sunday gets rad in Santa suits. The whole main team, flow team and employees can be seen shredding in this video. This was such a fun video to make. People really love Santa. Numerous times random people stopped to get there photos taken with Santa, snap photos of Santa riding or just got a smile on there face because they got to see Santa. There was even a 4 year old boy who was so stoked to ride with Santa, who was played by Gary Young at the time. Everyone here at Sunday would like to wish you a merry Christmas and happy holiday!

2010 refresher:
Lee Dennis in ATX

All I can say is Lee Dennis is really good and tough as nails.  There’s a whole bunch of amazing moves in this video that probably get overshadowed by the ending.  His recovery was surprisingly quick, he was back riding in only a few months.  Here’s what Lee had to say about the trip, video and crash.

So this was my first trip to Texas, it couldn’t have been at a better time.  It was January and the prime of winter where I’m from (Niagara Falls,Canada) so to get the chance to go to Austin where it’s t-shirt weather was a treat.  I was there for a total of 14 days, where I got to ride a ton of famous spots I’ve seen in videos over the years. It started out awesome, but ended with the one of my worse crashes to date.  Flew home 2 days later then 4 days after that I was omitted to the hospital where they found I had ruptured my kidney and lacerated my liver.  This was early in the year, there was still snow on the ground so I relaxed/played video games for the next 2 months and was good to go by April. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.

Pennsylvania Trail Tour

Fall time is arguably the best time of year.  The cooler weather, the leaves changing and just a refreshing change from the hot summer really make fall stand out.  Alex Magallan, Tom Arkus, Chris Hilbrich, Mike Gonzalez, Bobby Parker and Bobby DeLaat took our newly acquired van up to Pennsylvania to ride some of the best trails in the world.  The weather cooperated most of the time and the trails looked amazing.  Thanks to all the trail builders in PA who let us stop by!

2010 Refresher:
Alex Magallan D-Town Limits

Sometimes you forget how good videos are when new stuff appears online everyday.  Alex Magallan’s D-Town Limits video came out at the very, very end of last year.  It was filmed over a 2 day period which usually means the quality will be low, but not in this case.  Good stuff, fast riding, unique lines and just all around shredding.  Alex had this to say about this video.

Donelson Limits is the area where my brother and I grew up. A ton of memories and good spots.  Also, it’s a stones throw away from the Grand Ole Opry.  The edit was two days worth filming and a pretty fun project. This being my first video that I’ve ever edited, I was just learning and figuring what goes where. Still can’t believe the year is coming to a end. Time flies, hope you enjoyed. Have fun go PEDAL!  Thanks.

LAX to ATX

Here is our latest video which features the whole main Sunday team traveling on a post-Interbike trip from southern California to Austin with brief stops through the hot desert of Arizona and New Mexico.  Well, the whole team started the trip, but Gary Young got taken out early on by a gigantic surf obstacle at the Built to Shred ranch, so Alex Magallan, Aaron Ross, Garrett Reeves, Tom Arkus, Eric Lichtenberger, Jake Seeley, Jim Cielencki and Lee Dennis had to carry on without him.  This trip is featured in the latest issue of Ride UK which you can also see on their iPhone app.  Check back tomorrow for pictures from the trip.  Enjoy!

Lee Dennis December Kick Off!

Sunday is kicking off the last month of 2010 the right way by giving you the latest Lee Dennis video.  Filmed during the fall in and around Niagara Falls, Canada, Lee easily makes tough moves look casual.  Filmed and edited by Brad Hill with special guest appearance by Jake Montgomery.

Sunday in Canada:
The Video!

Eric Lichtenberger, Alex Magallan and I met up with Lee Dennis a few weeks back and rode a ton of good spots in southern Ontario.  Ryder Distribution was nice enough to feed us and give us a place to sleep.  Great weather, great people and Tim Horton’s made for a great time.  Enjoy the video!  See you next year Canada! Filmed and edited by Brad Hill.

Thank you Kurt!

Sunday Bikes wants to thank Kurt Rasmusson for the time he’s spent riding for us.  He recently decided to leave the team to concentrate on other endeavors. Kurt came on the team during the filming of his super epic Left/Right video part which you should go watch again.  He possesses an infectious confidence that is inspiring to everyone around him.  He made his part from our first video, Up, Up and Away seem so effortless.  He still rides all the time. My funny memory of him was how he was our Spanish translator during trips to Guadalajara and Barcelona because nobody knew a single word of Spanish.  Not to mention he quickly became our tour guide in Barcelona.  Thank you, Kurt and good luck.
