Catty Woods/Scout Bonus Bike!

Sunday is proud to announce our next Bonus bike which will benefit the Catty Woods Trails in Pennsylvannia.  If you’re unfamiliar with their situation, they are a legal set of trails that have to pay insurance and legal fees in order to keep them from getting plowed.  The costs are yearly and rather large, so we brought out the Catty Woods/Scout complete bike to help them raise money.  They are a non-profit, so if you can’t buy the bike, but still want to support then make a tax deductible donation through their Paypal right HERE. Go to their website www.pawoods.com for updates on the trails.  The Catty Woods/Scout complete bike is available NOW.

Check out an interview with Flash from Catty Woods about the insurance problems and how the Catty Woods/Scout handled at the trails after the break.

Bonus Bike interview!

BMXUnion brings you some insight into our Sunday Bonus Bikes.  We brought out the Alex Magallan/Maximum Destruction EX in April and just last week we released the Aaron Ross Watermelon PRO which is shown above.  If you’ve been around the internet then you’ve seen our other benefit Bonus bike releasing very soon. It’s hidden in plain sight.

Trail Season is here!

Tom Arkus sent over this video of him riding through his local trail spot Hazelwood.  These jumps are super big and scary!  I still don’t know how they casually ride them.  Trail season has started!

Tom’s Conductor bike check and Arizona Trip video over on ESPN.

Will Blount’s Conductor

Check out this photo of Will Blount looping the Round Rock cradle on his new Conductor.  Photo by Levi Brewer.  Look after the break for a close up of his bike.

TJ Henderson

It is with a heavy heart that we break this news. The legendary 45th St Ditch in Austin Texas has finally met it’s demise. This spot has seen some amazing riding over the years. From Joe Rich’s interview in Props 34 to a recent game of bike between Aaron Ross and Chase Hawk, the 45th St Ditch has been around for well over a decade. Sunday Bikes would to send our final farewell to this simple basic spot that has held countless hours of fun over the years with this video of Sunday AM team rider, TJ Henderson. 45th St Ditch, you will be missed!!

Jake Seeley riding sunglasses?

This photo is just too good not to show.  Here Jake Seeley becomes the third rider to finish the Gauntlet of Death at Texas Toast over the weekend. There were so many fun and weird obstacles including a giant pair of Oakley Frogskins and this huge Vans slip on.  Thanks again to Jeff Z and Ride BMX for this photo.

Texas Toast Recap!

TEXAS TOAST JAM – RECAP GALLERY from ODYSSEYBMX.COM

Odyssey just posted a photo recap of the Texas Toast contest this weekend. Check it out!

Gary Young likes Texas Toast!

Gary Young had a great weekend here in Austin.  Not only did he have a lot of fun at the Texas Toast Jam (just like everyone else), but he took him the win in Pro Dirt and the EmpireBMX Curved Wallride contest.  Big Congrats go out to Gary!!!  Here he is with the winning move, opposite wallride to 270 out.  The wall was  really weird and this was really difficult to do.  First try! Thanks to Jeff Z and Ride for the photo.  More Texas Toast coverage coming.

Want to Meet Aaron Ross?

Do you live in Minneapolis?  Then you will get your chance to meet him during the Journey’s Backyard BBQ Tour stop in Minneapolis on May 28th. Follow this LINK for more info on the stop.  Just a warning, Aaron won’t be showing up on his watermelon bike, but he did take it out for a ride the other day.

100 foot and running!

Sunday is throwing the 100 foot icepick grind contest at the Texas Toast contest which is happening this Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29 in Austin. If you’re wondering about how long 100 foot is, well I’m standing about 100ft from the camera in the above photo.  The contest looks to be really fun! Whoever ices 100 feet will get $250 bucks.  Check the flyer below for more info.  There’s even going to be a Gauntlet of Death!

Here today, gone tomorrow!

Ride your spots today because they might be gone tomorrow.  This Wave-C carve on this narrow tight tranny in Austin has been rendered unrideable right now.  The building has been vacant for a long time, but not anymore.  This photo is from a month ago and I remember saying that I should come back for it.  Luckily, I did it that day.

Check out the Gif of this image in the Sunday banner and an interview with me at Old Guys Who Ride right HERE.
