This probably hasn’t been seen by too many people, but this is Alex Magallan’s section from the Nashville scene video Nobody Special. You can see why he ended up on Sunday. Here is what Alex had to say about it.
Nobody special the first underground bmx video to really capture a bit of the Nashville Scene. This video was created by Chris Mahaffey a local to the Middle TN tribe. I always thank Chris any chance I get. Dude did alot for myself and a bunch of other guys around the area. From helping people with frames and parts to traveling, filming and exposing some Nashville talent. After a couple deadlines, the video dropped during the summer of 2006. My hair was long, jeans were skin
tight and was probably hounding some metalCore or savage LIFE. Times were fun! Thanks again Chris! Enjoyed!

Both Eric Lichtenberger and Alex Magallan are out of commission for a little bit. Alex took a nasty spill trying a gap to outside curved wall ride that messed up his shoulder. Eric took himself out on a normal curved wall ride that left his shin cut wide open. It ended up getting infected, so the doctor ordered him off his bike for 2 weeks. Yikes! Hopefully these guys heal up quick and are back riding soon. Good luck guys!
Check out Alex’s Bonus bike after the break.

Old Guys Who Ride just posted a little interview with me on their site. Some of the revelations that can be found are my middle name and the fact that the 24″ can go pretty high on a tight tranny wall. Enjoy!

Watch Garrett Reeves in the latest Props trailer. He’s featured in the G-Sport BMX trip and has last trick in the trailer. Can’t wait for this to come out!
Alex Magallan and Garrett Reeves has some good photos in Dig issue 82. Alex has some photos in the Caribbean article while Garrett has a drop in gone wrong in the G-Sport LA trip article. Sneak shot of this below. Check this issue out!

Check out a review of the Sunday Wave-C on www.oldguyswhoride.com! The improvements like shortened rear end and longer toptube option, haven’t gone unnoticed. Not only do you get these changes, but there are more features on the frame like Wave toptube and downtube, removable mounts and hollow dropouts with built in chaintensioners. It’s offered in two color choices: Black Magic and the new Vapor Blue color which is shown in the photo above. Available now for shops through Full Factory and at your local bike shop and mail order.

Jake Seeley kills it in his section from Up, Up & Away! Tech street riding from back when he was running a freecoaster. All these clips are still modern today especially all the long icepick grinds. Heard he’s coming to the Texas Toast Jam just to enter the 100 foot long icepick grind event. Give his section another watch because it’s really good.
The guys over at Ride BMX just put up a Jake Seeley Luc-e grind 180 how to video. Jake’s been doing these forever, so he’s a good one to teach it. Good luck!
Logan Beyhl can be found on the phones at Full Factory and at the trails on this Black Magic Sunday Conductor. Black Magic frame with Odyssey matte kelly green parts kit looks amazing!
The Conductor is built for high speed riding in particular trails and concrete parks. Check out the specs HERE.
Garrett Reeves, Eric Lichtenberger, Lee Dennis and myself paid Alex Magallan a visit in his home town of Nashville last week. We spent a good amount of time in Nashville, but we also traveled to Chattanooga, Johnson City and Knoxville. These cities have so many ridiculous spots! Especially if you’re looking through the eyes of the Sunday team. Thanks to Andrew White for providing a place to stay, being a good tour guide and shooting lots of photos. Here are a bunch from my camera.
