I wanted to get a nice vantage point for this shot of @brettsilva doing his thing at a schoolyard in LA, so I stood on the adjacent handrail with the fisheye peering down. From up here, you can see that there’s a moody sky suggesting an evening session or, less likely, a thunderstorm brewing in SoCal. You can see some colorful picnic tables with our backpacks strewn about. You can clearly see Brett’s front foot tweaked at 90 degrees as he maximizes his tabletop wrenching. What you CAN’T see are my flashes, placed on either side of the action just out of frame. And unfortunately, you can’t see that he did a crooked grind up that rail to get to where he is, but luckily there is footage of it- seen originally in BUNCH’D UP 2.
