The guys over at Plus Size BMX coming through again with the third installment of the Project Model C video. In this series, they ask all types of riders to give their feedback after riding riding a Model C 24″ BMX. We’ve always said that it feels just like a 20″ just scaled up and it seems like everyone confirms this. There’s a bonus in this video. At the end, there’s the footage of Jon Faure becomes the oldest person to jump Mega Ramp. So sick Jon!

Lee Dennis and not Chris Rantell blasts this wallride on his Model C during the 4/20 Jam in Ontario! Good stuff! Thanks Brad Hill for the photo!
Jim Cielencki from Up, Up & Away!
Check out my video part from our video Up, Up & Away. There’s a mixture of 20″ and 24″ bike riding in here. The Model C/Plus 4 geometry had just come out, so I was really excited to put the bike in new spots. I was pretty amazed at how well the bike worked in all types of conditions. Definitely a fun video to make. Enjoy!

Check on Jon Faure’s brand new Wave C frame with 24umph bars and Morning 24.1 forks. Jon has been riding Sunday 24″ bikes since late 2009, check out this interview we did with him about his Model C experience. He’s got some big plans coming up this year so definitely look for more from him. Check out his web site, www.oldguyswhoride.com and realize that you’ll be able to ride well into your 40’s and 50’s. Maybe even longer? His parts list is below. Thanks Jon, you’re bike looks great!
Sunday Spy Shot!
Thought we could show you this spy shot of some of the new 24umph XL bars that we are riding. We’ve added a half inch to the original 24umph bar height. The dimensions will be 7.75″ rise and 28″ wide with 12 degrees backsweep and 4 degrees upsweep. I put them on my Wave-C for a test run the other day, I could bunnyhop easier and pop into nosewheelies much better. Not sure if it made doubles runs easier, but TJ Henderson and I filmed this clip that day. The testing is going well so far. Arrival dates should be later this spring and yes 990 mount 24.1 forks will be here in March. More updates to come!
Wave-C frames coming very soon!
That’s right, the frame that changed the 24″ BMX world has now improved even more and will be available around the second week of February! The Plus 4 Model-C frame gets features found on our 20″ frames. We’ve added the Wave tubing to the top and down tubes hence why we call this the Wave-C. Plus we’ve added the strongest dropouts in BMX to this frame. Sunday hollow dropouts have been found on our frames since we started making them in 2006. Look for a complete check out of the frame soon. Here is myself tabling on my Wave-C at the Marble Falls, TX skatepark. Photo Jake Seeley

Project Model C Episode 1!
The guys over at Plus Size BMX approached us about making a video where you take all types of riders and put them on a Plus 4 Model C just to get their initial feelings about the bike. Of course, we were into the idea and this is the first episode. The responses they’ve gotten are very similar to all the responses we’ve gotten since we launched the Model C back in 2008. Look for Episode 2 coming soon! Wave-C’s coming late January?
Model C photos please!
We need your help! If you have a high resolution photo of you riding your Sunday Model C then please send it to us. You can be riding it, ghost riding it, racing it, doing a surfer, being pulled by your dog, running from the cops or standing next to it. Anything really should do. Here is the trick, it needs to be sent to us by Thursday morning of this week. And if you send it in then you consent to us using it somewhere, ok? Please send it to jimc@sundaybikes.com. Thank you!
