Mike Gonzalez and I took off last weekend to ride street and parks in Atlanta as well as stop at one of America’s oldest skateparks, Kona, in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a long drive to Kona, but it was nevertheless worth it. I hadn’t been there since the CFB contest there over 10 years ago, so it was really nice to go back there. Mike had never been there so it was a completely new experience for him. Old school snake runs, very messed up cement quarterpipes and an even scarier concrete halfpipe made for a fun day. The pool that I loved on Roadfools 7 was changed, but it was still fun. If you’re ever in north Florida and want to ride a classic park then go there. After Kona, we headed up to Atlanta where we met up with Alex Magallan and Andrew White. Traveling is a lot of fun.

Alex Magallan Dead Man Moves!
Here’s a sneak shot of Alex Magallan filming for his upcoming Props Owned section which will be amazing if this picture is any indication. Just click on the picture to see the whole thing. This must’ve been scary! Alex has been on a tear lately, so much good stuff coming. Check out the Alex Magallan/Maximum Destruction EX Bonus bike that we showed last week.
Vapor Blue Wave-C are available!
Here’s a sneak shot of the new Vapor Blue Wave C frames that just arrived in the warehouse. This color is amazing! I’m not sure whether to switch from the Black Magic I ride to the Vapor Blue. Either way both 21.25″ and 22″ frames are available this week.

Alex Magallan Bonus Bike
We’ve got some special for you! Since Alex Magallan has been killing it online and in print, we decided to give him the very first Sunday Bonus bike. You’re probably wondering what is a Sunday Bonus bike? Well, it is basically short runs of very unique bikes that are in addition to the current bike line. The bonuses can be team rider models, artist collaborations, charity benefit bikes or whatever creative idea pops into our heads during the year. Alex’s bike continues the monster truck theme we’ve had going with the 2011 EX models. The Alex Magallan/Maximum Destruction EX bike will be available first in the UK, Australia and Canada starting next week. The USA will see them around April 18th. Congrats Alex! You deserve it!
Alex Magallan in Emerald, Up, Up & Away and Props
Alex Magallan has left Texas!
Yup, Alex Magallan is officially a snowbird. He just flew back home to Nashville after spending the winter in the warm weather of Austin, Texas. He made his nest on my couch for the last 3 months while working on some Sunday stuff as well as his Props Owned part. Right before he left, he did one of the craziest things I’ve seen in awhile. So, you’ll definitely want to check out his video part. It was fun while he was here and I’m already excited for his next winter’s visit. This photo was from an earlier trip session at the Round Rock Skatepark. Style for miles!
Check out Alex’s Up, Up & Away section from 2009!
Jake Seeley across America Flipbook!

Jim Cielencki’s filmer board on Props
Props did a good article about BMX filmers and their filmer boards. Everyone seems to have a different set up, but it’s unanimous that having a filmer board is the way to go. Here’s a photo of mine that I got at the Sunday Skate shop in Buffalo. To read more about my set up then just follow this LINK.
My board was used extensively on Megatour 10, check out our flipbook from the trip.
