Everyone here at Sunday wants to wish Gary Young a happy birthday! One footed toothpick photo shot during the filming of his Odyssey Vision part which is shown below.
Check out Gary’s line of complete bikes right HERE!!
Garrett Reeves, Eric Lichtenberger, Lee Dennis and myself paid Alex Magallan a visit in his home town of Nashville last week. We spent a good amount of time in Nashville, but we also traveled to Chattanooga, Johnson City and Knoxville. These cities have so many ridiculous spots! Especially if you’re looking through the eyes of the Sunday team. Thanks to Andrew White for providing a place to stay, being a good tour guide and shooting lots of photos. Here are a bunch from my camera.
Here is the end of Up, Up & Away. The credits roll with the sounds of the Felice Bros. Great way to end such a fun video to make.
While on a trip in Tennessee, some of the team paid a visit to Angry Penguin Skate & BMX in Johnson City, TN. It was really nice to meet all the locals. Everyone was super nice. Thanks Jake for the fun time!
Mike Taylor does one of the longest kinked rails in his Up, Up & Away section all to the sounds of the Beatles.
Lee Dennis and Joe Cox shared a section in Up, Up & Away. Fast paced street riding in this one which goes with the face paced Titus Andronicus song.
Stephen Savage had a full part in Up, Up & Away because he has a smooth, relaxed and fun style. He rides for us in South Africa and spent a good portion of the summer of 2008 in the USA which he filmed most of this section. Great song and great section!
If you live in Rochester, NY then you should head over to RASP this Saturday April 30th for the Etiket Rail Jam. It’s pretty fitting that Sunday sponsors a rail jam right? There’s a whole bunch of good prizes and it sounds like a really fun time if you ask me. Be there!
Aaron Ross had an amazing part in our first video Up, Up & Away! Lots of the hardest trick and line combos in this section. Dolly Parton would be proud!
Check out my video part from our video Up, Up & Away. There’s a mixture of 20″ and 24″ bike riding in here. The Model C/Plus 4 geometry had just come out, so I was really excited to put the bike in new spots. I was pretty amazed at how well the bike worked in all types of conditions. Definitely a fun video to make. Enjoy!
The first Sunday Bonus bike is now available from Full Factory Distribution. Alex Magallan’s Maximum Destruction EX bike is shipping to shops and mail orders as we speak. If you are interested in this bike then you should talk to your shop or mail order now because there’s not many left. Don’t sleep on this one!
We’ve never had an offical bike check on the site of my Wave-C that I’ve been riding since last October, so I’ll show it now. The bike is all Black Magic with this one except for the red spokes. Originally it had a black stem, but I’ve been testing an Odyssey stem prototype which only is in high polish. The Wave-C has a shorter backend which allows for better manuals and bunnyhopping. We still offer it in the 21.25″ size, but now we have an even larger size of 22″. The bar height was increased using a topload stem and our new 7.75″ high 24umph XL bars. This bike has been so much fun! Frame and fork available now with the bars arriving sometime around the beginning of June.
