Black Sunday!
Guess what? Sunday frames come in black! Actually we’ve had black frames for a long time now, but they are often overshadowed by the bright colors we also do. From left to right, Forecaster, Funday (yes even a black Funday), Third Wave, Conductor and Wave-C all come in black and are available right now!
Triumph XL spy shot!
Mike Gonazalez is running the new Triumph XL bars on his freshly spray painted Conductor. These bars keep the classic Triumph bar dimensions except the rise goes from 8″ to 8.5″. So, you still have the 28″ wide, 12 degrees backsweep and 1 degree of upsweep, but now you can get them in an 8.5″ rise. Look for these to be available this spring!
Mike Gonzalez turndowns right HERE.
Mike Gonzalez update!
Mike Gonzalez shreds if you didn’t know! Here he is clicking this turndown in north Austin on his Conductor. He will be joining the rest of the Sunday team on the Props Megatour starting March 1st in Dallas.
Mike’s Conductor bike check HERE.
Sunday Spy Shot!
Thought we could show you this spy shot of some of the new 24umph XL bars that we are riding. We’ve added a half inch to the original 24umph bar height. The dimensions will be 7.75″ rise and 28″ wide with 12 degrees backsweep and 4 degrees upsweep. I put them on my Wave-C for a test run the other day, I could bunnyhop easier and pop into nosewheelies much better. Not sure if it made doubles runs easier, but TJ Henderson and I filmed this clip that day. The testing is going well so far. Arrival dates should be later this spring and yes 990 mount 24.1 forks will be here in March. More updates to come!
Alex Magallan/Dig article!
Make sure you look for the Alex Magallan ‘Scouting for Spots’ article in Dig BMX issue 81 that will be out very soon! Alex is always looking for very unique set ups and this article captures this perfectly. Just watch the last clip of his Emerald Video and you’ll see what I mean.
Alex Magallan Forecaster bike check HERE.
Conductor frame now available!
We offered you a sneak peek of our new Conductor frame a few months back, we’ll they’ve arrived and are in stores right now! If you’re looking for a simple and classic frame designed for higher speed riding then this is it! Check out the specs after the break.
Mike Gonzalez, Chris Hilbrich, Bobby Parker and Tom Arkus Conductor bike checks!
Sunday Friends: Yusuf Deliorman
Two Sunday Friends in one week? Well, when you’re sent cool bike photos like this one of Yusuf Deliorman’s Third Wave frame then you have to use it. This photo comes all the way from Turkey. It’s great to know BMX is everywhere!
