Two Sunday Friends in one week? Well, when you’re sent cool bike photos like this one of Yusuf Deliorman’s Third Wave frame then you have to use it. This photo comes all the way from Turkey. It’s great to know BMX is everywhere!
Wave C frames now available!
Yes, the highly anticipated 24″ Wave C frame is now available! We’ve made some updates to the original Model-C frame that make it even stronger and more agile. The chainstay length was shortened from 15″ to 14.6″ which will allow the front end to come up easier and make it easier for spinning tricks. All of our aftermarket frame features like Wave toptube and downtube, hollow dropouts with built in chain tensioner, removable brake mounts, cable channel, post-weld machining of the bb and headtube and 41 Thermal heat-treating can all be found on this frame. Plus we’ve added more room to the frame by offering it in a larger 22″ size, so you’ll be able to get it in either 21.25″ or 22″. This is one tough frame! Check after the break for the frame specs and features.

Sunday Friends: Colby Mockler
It’s been awhile since we’ve done a Sunday Friends, but this is Colby Mockler’s brand new Wave-C freshly purchased from Empire BMX. This bike couldn’t look much more tough! Colby might actually be one of the first people to own a Wave-C since it just arrived in shops last week. Can’t wait to see more Wave-C photos!
CLOSE UP: Gary Young red AM
The Gary Young red AM is the subject of this CLOSE UP. It features red frame, fork and bars with gold and black accent colors and has 3 aftermarket parts from Odyssey, KMC and Sunday. With all of these features plus the chromoly dropouts, headtube and Sunday’s own Wave downtube, this bike stands at the top of the starter category. Check the photos for a closer look.
Aaron Ross Orange Soda now available!

He topped himself again! Aaron Ross’ latest unique colorway inspired by orange soda is now available! Aaron’s signature Funday frame, Sunday Morning 2.1 forks and both Tall T and Victory bars can now be found at your local shop or mail order. The best thing is that you’ll be able to recreate Aaron’s bike so easily because Odyssey and GSport are offering their products in orange as well. Aaron Ross 3 Days at TX Cement Parks video

Get ready for this one. Aaron Ross shredding my two favorite local Austin area skateparks. He rides Round Rock on his new orange soda Funday then he rides Marble Falls on his Picnic bike. Filmed and edited by Devon Hutchins with help from Empire BMX and found on Defgrip! So good! Click the photo for the video.
Garrett Reeves on GSport!

Garrett Reeves is easily one of the toughest guys on wheels, so it’s very fitting that he is the newest member of the G-Sport team. He might now be on of the toughest bikes in BMX. Big congratulations go out to Garrett for his new sponsor!
CLOSE UP: Gary Young PRO
For this CLOSE UP, we present you with one of my personal favorites the Gary Young PRO. The Black Magic finish with it’s Space Invader inspired graphics and root beer colored wheels work so well together. It even has a flat black Odyssey brake kit. Odyssey, Sunday and KMC make up it’s amazing 14 piece aftermarket parts package. Check out the specs below for the complete list. This might be the best bike for the money out there today! Still the most complete completes.
Gary Young at the Dirt Pipe
Gary Young decided he’d take a break from the winter in the northern hemisphere by flying down to Australia to ride in the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest. This contest looks so crazy! A totally mix of dirt, snowboard halfpipe and street. Pretty wild! Congrats to Gary for winning the Best Wall Ride award!

Wave C Bike Check on ESPN

Here’s a quick shot of my Sunday Wave C in action at the R.A.S.P. Skatepark in Rochester, NY. ESPN just posted more photos of this bike along with some amazing wallpaper in a bike check over the weekend. In the post, there’s a little interview talking about the pros and cons of the Sunday 24″ geometry. Wave C’s should be in stores very soon! Photo: Casey Haley
