Jake Seeley’s new ride!

Jake Seeley's 2nd Wave

Jake Seeley just built up a 20.75 Black Magic Second Wave shaved headtube PROTOTYPE. He’s helping me test out the new batch of samples that we just received. My bike also has one if you didn’t notice then just scroll down a few posts and check it out. Our original samples from Interbike never had the properly machined headtubes. Once the proper ones were figured out, it was time to make prototypes again. Enjoy Jake’s bike!

Aaron Ross Bike Checks?

aaron-ross-funday-bike-2

Aaron Ross just built up his prototype signature frame called the Funday and here are two photos of it. His colorway this time isn’t just one bright neon color, but he decided he’d mix the yellow and red together. I like the two different color rims myself, but its too bad his front brake isn’t neon red too. What? Front brake? View More

Forumph Bars in stock!

forumph-top-703421

The taller brother of the Sunday Triumph bar named the Forumph arrived in the warehouse this week! These two differ by upsweep and overall height only, Triumphs are 1 degree while Forumphs are 4 degrees. What ends up happening is the overall height goes from 8 inches to 8.32 inches just by changing the upsweep. They will be available in Black Magic and White. Look for them at your shop in the next 2 weeks!

New T-shirts!

Two new Sunday shirts will be available in the next 2 weeks! The left one is a sunday! logo repeated using black halftone dots on a teal shirt. Upclose the halftone isn’t as visible, but as you move away from the shirt sunday! starts to appear. Notice how you can’t read the logo at the bottom of the screen, but as you get to the top sunday! becomes more visible.

While the right one is our classic Word Bubble shirt with Sunday written in Spanish. This one is a discharge print on a purple heather shirt which makes the Word Bubble a minty green. All these shirts are printed on American Apparel. Look for more softgoods soon!

Sunday Friends!

Here’s a bunch of Sunday’s friends with a few photos of their bikes built up. We have a few Ian Schwartz frames, some Black Magic Second Waves and even a few very colorful Wave frames! Enjoy!

The first picture is from Jason Forsyth of Elmira, NY. Next is Nate Hanlon from Riverside, CA.

Austin Agee from Albany, OR has the all white Ian Schwartz set up and Paul Kramer from New York runs the Second Wave.

Will Robinson from somewhere in Canada runs this Black Magic Second Wave and Nathan Wallace from St Louis built up this creamsicle Wave frame.

Dominque Seaborough from Atlanta rides this toothpaste Wave frame and Tyler Wright from Redmond, WA takes his creamsicle Wave frame to the beach.

And the winner is…..

Kyle Ruschell from Lexington, Kentucky!!! He will be enjoying some ice cream from Sundae! …ah…Sunday! Look for a photo of him and his giant ice cream sometime in the future. No more scouring the archives for the photos of Aaron’s frame. The 3 colors shown are samples and we are not sure which one Aaron will go with. Any thoughts?

PS Oh and Aaron’s frame has a shorter rear end, different cable guides and a lower BB than the other Sunday frames. More info later on!

Sneak Peak! 3

Here are two more photos of Aaron Ross’s frame. I know you’ve already seen the dropout, but I have a contest for you. Full size photos of all 3 color samples of Aaron’s frame are hidden somewhere in the archives on this site. It could be a photo or a link, so you’ll have to do some work. The first person to email me the photo and where it is located on the site will win…..a gigantic sundae similar to the one in Aaron’s first Sunday ad!! We will work out the details when the winner is figured out! Good luck!

Taylor and Piazza

Jim Cielencki’s full bike check can be found over on the Odyssey site. These is a Black Magic 20.5 Second Wave with the much misunderstood shaved headtube. I’ll keep you posted on any issues with it. Did a mostly black bike because it was lighter and I needed a change of color until I can think of something more interesting.

Mike Taylor is back riding again and getting wild with Krylon cans. Rasta paint job without the cough. Look for another bike check coming because Mike is going to be testing a shaved headtube frame.

Joey Piazza lives in NYC and has been getting flow stuff from us since last summer. Here is a photo of his black Ian Schwartz frame built up along with Morning 2.1 forks and toothpaste Trumph bars.

Vinnie in Vapors!

Hey did you guys see Vinnie Sammon in this Vapors article up on Defgrip? It is posted up there as well as the real life issue which is all based around 2 wheeled bikes. I picked up the issue the other day as well as rode Greyboy’s side hack which is featured in the same issue. Has anyone ever ridden one? They are so fun, so weird and seem so dangerous!

Sneak Peak! 2

You guys are good! You figured out the first sneak peak was a shot of Aaron Ross’s new frame called the Funday. Well, please forgive me for annoying you because I’m just going to show you bits and pieces of his frame through out the week. Actually I’m just trying to make SPRFLS 2 days in a row!

Sneak Peak!

Can you guess whose frame this is? It is really simple! This photo is of the prototype that we recently got in to start testing. Look for more info and photos some time in the next few weeks! Meanwhile check out this photo.

Did you see this?

Did you guys check out these Chad Shack produced videos on Defgrip? Picking Brains is just that, a few of us talking about Guadalajara Mexico which was a totally new place to us. We wanted to show that we went there for more than just the bike riding.

This next one also on Defgrip is a sort of mini group discussion by Jim Cielencki and Jake Seeley. We talk about the official it trick of the last year the Luc-e grind. I’ve been into that trick for a long time, so it was really good to talk with someone who is just as excited about it as I am.
