The site will be down with a holding page any day now while we prepare to do a full overhaul. In the mean time visit the Sunday! Myspace.

Sunday in South Africa!

Not only is Sunday offically distributed by Empire Cycle Supply in South Africa, we now have a team rider there! Steven Savage is a shredder from Cape Town and he fits with Sunday perfectly. I hope to get a profile done with him soon, so look for that. Otherwise enjoy these photos!

Chrome and such!

These are the Chrome Triumph Bars that I had mentioned a few updates back, they are currently available, but not for much longer. Blackout said they were going quickly and should be gone by next week!

Lee Dennis has an interview in the Summer/Fall 06 edition of Red BMX, so check that out along with these Lee photos taken by Scott Barker.

Here Lee grinds up and over Bobby Hill and does a roof over ice!

Check out this photo of Kurt Rasmusson riding the under side of the Matt Hensley/Ron Wilkerson/Vic Murphy bridge in San Diego.

The Fall is upon us and so is the Annual Pumpkin King Contest at Red Planet Skatepark in Oswego, NY. Check the flyer or their site for all info. Last year was so much fun, there is a new course, so it should be even better!

Check out Sunday’s necessary evil and become a friend!

News!!!!

Okay, so it has been a bit since our last update. Between the Padded Cell road trip throughout the UK to Interbike in Las Vegas, things have been very busy. Speaking of Padded Cell, Darren from Manmade Clothing created a trailer for the trip video, see it here! The trip will be made into a free video by Sunday’s own Joe Cox and will be found in an upcoming issue of Ride UK. Sunday was well represented on the trip with Ian Schwartz, Mike Taylor, Joe Cox and myself being on it. Also, Joe Cox was nominated for NORA Cup Video Part of the Year for his part in ‘Voices’.

Check out my bike check below, notice the downtube! More later!

Here is a photo of what Mike Hoder’s bike looks like today!

This is the frame that Ian Schwartz is riding at the moment. Please take notice that the chrome on this frame costs an extra $150, so it will most likely not ever be available. Sorry for the teasing!

Departures!

Eli Platt is an amazing rider and a good friend, he has decided to leave Sunday for new opportunities. I want to say good luck to him, he will be missed here. He moves on to join Ryan Sher, Rich Hirsch and the Wizard of Florida in Subrosa. Sounds like a bunch of creative wording to me just like some other conspiracy.

Randumbs!

What has been going on lately? Vinnie and Ian were both in NYC for the Animal Jam at the Brooklyn Banks. Here is some FOOTAGE from Mike Hoder from the FACAD video.

Check out Rob Tibbs’s Sunday frame and the picture of him riding it at Ramp Kill in Richmond! Rob is riding a 21″ with the 14.25″ rear end that was made available a month or so ago!
Photo unknown

Also, check out Kurt Rasmusson’s Sunday. Along with a great sequence on BMXONLINE and some photos in a recent Ride US, Kurt is going to have a super good video part coming out this fall(?).

Here is a random ninja drop photo of myself on the elevator shaft in Rochester, NY. If you were at Metro Jam in Toronto, you might have noticed I was on a ninja drop kick, well I still am!

UPDATES!

Ian Schwartz has an interview on DEFGRIP. Mike Taylor got 2nd at London Calling, check HERE and HERE for the story!

I got to go to Moscow, Russia for the Adrenalin Games about 2 weekends ago. Moscow was way different than I expected, so big and modern with so much advertising. The trip was amazing even if I was only there for a weekend! Here are a few photos from my trip-

Ian, Mike, Joe Cox and I are all going on the PADDED CELL road trip from September 16th-24th, we will be traveling around England and Scotland. I can’t wait, I always have the best time traveling around England, so much fun!!!

Brakeless frames

Hey, I just got a picture of the BRAKELESS Sunday frames that should be available by the end of next week! I have been getting so many requests for this, so here they are! They come in 2 sizes, 20.5″ and 21″ and in 2 colors gray and red! And if you are worried there is a caliper brake hole in the brake bridge so you can put some sort of brake on if you want.

Randomness!

Let me start by saying that Sunday Bikes distributor Blackout received a new shipment of red and green frames earlier this week, so contact your shop or any of the mailorders to get your hands on a Sunday frame.

Check out 20TwentyStore from Aberdeen, Scottland and notice that Sunday made the ‘choice cuts’ not once, but twice!

There are a bunch of events coming up in the next little bit. First, on August 20th in Richmond, VA, Ramp Kill is happening. You can check out some of the ramps and stuff through the link! I would be there, but most of the shop’s skate team is going to NYC for the Back to the Banks Jam, so I am left to watch the shop! Here are some flyers for some other events coming up!

Hoder does Hollywood High!

You can check out team rider Mike Hoder on the cover of the new RideBMX US. This is a 16 stair 180 at the famous Hollywood High School! Apparently, he tried this a few times and completely blew up his front wheel. He came back another day and this is what you get. The trick is amazing and so is Jeff Zielinski’s photo! Congradulations to Mike for his first ever cover!

In other news, ask and you shall receive! SUNDAY FRAMES WITHOUT BRAKE MOUNTS will be available at the end of this month. They are only coming in 2 sizes-20.5 and 21 along with 2 colors-Gray and Red. Get them quickly because there has been a lot of request for this. Also, limited edition CHROME TRIUMPH BARS will be available around the same time. These will cost a little more because apparently chrome plating isn’t used as much. The last chrome frame I had was in 1997 and that was a long time ago.

Here is some more photos of people with Sunday frames:
Chris Kennedy
Daniel Johnson
Jorden Guth

Jorden riding! I first met Jorden when I bought an Ottawa scene video from him at Metro this year!

Random news!

Let’s see what is happening in the Sunday world! Eli Platt’s first ever bike that isn’t a dark color can be seen below!

Ian Schwartz is still on the disabled list, he went to the doctor last week to get his cast off and start riding again, but his wrist isn’t healing fast enough. He has a removable splint, but has decided to hold out until the end of August so that it heals properly.
Mike Hoder has been on a tear lately, check out WoozyBMX to see a photo of what he has been doing. He “broke” his hand a week or so ago, but it feels pretty good as of late, but no big drop stuff yet.

I have been meaning to do this for a little bit, but I have asked people to send me some photos of their Sunday frames put together. If you have any photos of your Sunday frame together or you riding one then send them to me HERE!
