2015 Sunday Complete Bikes

Welcome to the 2015 Sunday complete bike line.

We are proud to show you our all-new aesthetic and direction for Sunday’s 10th Anniversary. We are very excited about this 2015 line. In addition to new models, you will also notice an impressive product spec throughout. For example, you will find Odyssey Hawk tires in 2.40, both front and rear, beginning as low as the Primer level and continuing through the line. The Broadcaster also has a freecoaster option this year.

From entry level bikes like the Blueprint, to pro level bikes like the Soundwave Special all the way to the now classic Model-C, the 2015 Sunday complete line-up truly has a bike for everyone.

Sunday is excited to announce that we’ve added young NorCal shredder Paul Shariff to the Sunday flow team. It should be clear to anyone who’s seen Paul ride that he’s got a bunch of talent, and at only 15 years old, the sky’s the limit for this kid. Check out his latest video and give him a follow at @paulshariff.

PEDAL_ICE_NASHVILLE

This day was bound to come eventually. As of mid-May I will be leaving Sunday Bikes. This was obviously a difficult decision for me since I co-founded Sunday with Odyssey back in 2005 and I’ve been working on it every day for the last 9 years. It’s truly been an amazing experience learning the bike industry, traveling with the team and most important of all, meeting so many BMXers from around the world.

My main goal with Sunday was to do interesting things with every aspect of the company and if you’ve been paying attention since we’ve started then you know that we’ve done that many times over. Sunday has always been in great hands with everyone at Odyssey/Full Factory standing behind it, and that’s where it is going to continue to grow, with lots of exciting projects already in development for 2015.

So, now I’m off to new creative adventures. I just want to say that I’m truly honored by all the people that supported and rode a Sunday during my time with the company. Even after all these years, I’m completely stoked when I see a person riding one. BMX as a whole has never seemed brighter when you consider how amazing riders are today and when you look at the progress of the younger riders it’s clear that things are going to only get crazier. I’m very excited to cheer it all on from the sidelines.

Thank you,
Jim Cielencki

BIKE CHECK: Jake Seeley’s Broadcaster

Jake Seeley wanted us to make a very tech street frame, so we did.  The Broadcaster is designed with the most modern street geometry and one of the shortest chain stay lengths which helps with tail whips and spins. The Broadcaster is available as a frame and a 2014 complete bike Check out his full parts list below.

Primer 16 & 18 Review on BMXGroms

BMX Groms did a great review on our Primer 16 and Primer 18 bikes.  The goal of these bikes was to provide the most functional and easy to learn geometry in the BMX industry. One way we achieved this is by having our chain stay lengths far shorter than the other brands.  We didn’t make ours out of proportion of 20″ chain stay lengths rather other brands have made theirs way too long.  Other brands would have their 20″ frame chain stays lengths a fully inch longer or more if they scaled up from their 16″ bikes.  We know that if a kid can’t learn and progress then he probably won’t be riding BMX.

Look HERE to see what 10 year old Kaden Stone does on his Primer 16.
