Gary Young wins gold!

Over the weekend, our own Gary Young took home the gold medal at the X Games in Barcelona!  He’s been long overdue and we couldn’t be happier for him.  It was great seeing all the internet love for him after the final standings came in.  If you ever want to learn to ride a bowl properly than pay attention to Gary’s riding.  Congrats Gary!

Alex Magallan Owned Section

How many of you have seen Alex Magallan’s Props Owned section? If not, then Props put it up on Hulu for all to watch.  Alex has the first section and you will probably use these adjectives to describe his section: fast, big, fun, stylish, classic, tech, exciting, creative and very rad.  Way to go Alex!

Aaron Ross’ new bike?

Aaron Ross released Instagram photos of his new bike which just so happens to resemble his 2013 signature EX Complete Bike.  Pictures will never do this justice because it’s fluorescent red and white.  It really looks amazing in real life.  Find your local shop at our Dealer Locator to check it out.

Downside double peg with Jake

When Jake Seeley called out this downside double peg in the now famous Austin halfpipe ditch, it sounded pretty skeptical.  This ditch is really hard to ride and this trick is not easy, but he did it with relative ease.  The photo is featured in our new Dan’s Comp Bonus Bike ad which can be seen after the break.  Want to see the video of this?  Just check it after the break.  Photo Tristan Afre.

Aaron & TJ injured

It was a rough weekend for the Sunday team.  Trail Squad member Aaron Day, broke his ankle after ejecting from an over-rotated 360 and TJ Henderson from the AM team, knocked himself out at his local skatepark.  He knocked himself out so hard that he lost almost a whole day from his memory.  Heal up quick guys and everyone else be safe out there!

This is how you do it

It’s gotta be a great feeling getting this close to the rafters on a casual air.  Cory Foust really knows how to boost a ramp.  If you’ve ever watched him ride Lot 8 at Woodward East then you know it’s a treat.  Cory is working there this summer, so if you’re going then be sure to watch him ride.

Lee Dennis goes overboard!

Lee Dennis jumps out of the new Port Colborne Skatepark by jumping from the manual pad up over the ledge.  You’re probably wondering why the end of the park looks like the bow of a ship?  Do you see the raised bridge on the left?  Well that goes over the Welland Canal which connects Lake Ontario to Lake Erie.  The park is literally 60 feet from the canal.  It’s really cool riding the park with giant freighter ships going by.
