Gary Young via Argentina

Gary Young also made it trip to Argentina to ride in the Red Bull Ramparanoia event in December.  The altitude for  the event was over 10,000 ft which makes this lookback even more badass. Photo Gustavo Cherro via Ride BMX.

20th Most Progressive Frame!

Our Ian Schwartz frame from 2009 was ranked the 20th most progressive frame in BMX history according to ESPN.  Ian’s vision was to add a pivotal mount to a Second Wave frame thus eliminating the seat post and seat clamp.  This helped usher in the low seat era in BMX.  The pivotal mount was the most obvious feature on the frame, but the whole Second Wave frame was refined and smoothed out for a cleaner look compared to previous versions of Sunday frames.  Go check out the rest of the list on ESPN right HERE.  Check out the promo for Ian’s frame after the break.

Introducing Sunday’s new Team Manager!

Big news time!  After being the team manager from our inception in April of 2005, I’ve decided it was time to focus on other duties at Sunday and step away from the team manager role.  It’s been a great 8 years in this role, but Sunday has grown so much that it was time to bring on a new TM.  In doing so, I would like to introduce Walter Pieringer as Sunday’s new TM.  Walter’s an amazing photographer, filmer and trip organizer, so it make sense for him to step into this new role. He will also be working with Odyssey as their TM as well.  Look for him and the rest of the Sunday team on the road starting soon.

This is a good turndown

Aaron Day has a very good turndown.  Look at this photo, if he goes any further then it just makes the turndown weird.  Absolutely the best spot to click it to.  Photo by Garrett Meyers.  Check out the Rooster that Aaron is riding after the break.
