Check out Steve Ciron‘s Black Magic Model D.  He ended up getting the last Black Magic sample that we had left.  The photo is sort of old, but I bet right now its cover in Long Island dirt!  Did it stop raining yet in Long Island?

New Dig and Sunday!

Sunday has some good stuff in Dig issue 71.  You can see Lee Dennis featured in the New Day Rising article.  Check out this link to see some clips from Lee’s interview.  There’s a good photo of Alex Magallan in the Leland Thurman article.  Chris Hilbrich and I are featured in the Sunday ad.  He’s showcasing Sunday’s trail frame the Model D while I have a few little photos of myself riding the Model C.  This issue is a great read especially the Leland article!

Mike Gonzalez Model D!

Mike Gonzalez has been getting some help from Sunday and Odyssey for awhile. We recently hooked him up with the only Black Magic Model D that was made. I know I’m going to hear you should make it in that color, which is completely understandable because this looks great. Either way Model D’s are available in olive green and silver right now. So if you are looking for something dependable and stable in the air while riding trails then this is the bike for you!

Here is Nuno Oliveira‘s complete silver Model D set up.  Not sure why it is in a tree?  But that’s what he sent me.  Simply, the Model D is the 20″ brother of the 24″ Model C.  Its geometry and aesthetic are designed for trail riders specifically.  It varies from other Sunday frame by having traditional plate dropouts, a non-waved downtube and a 14 inch rear end length.  All the trail specs are listed below.  Look for the frame available now!

TT 20.75, 21 & 21.25   HT 74    ST 71    RE 11.8    BB 11.8

Model C action!

Jim Bauer's Model-C

A few posts back, we showed some photos of some Model C and Model D prototypes that arrived at the office.  Jim Bauer is one of the lucky ones who gets to build one up.  Here’s two photos of him riding at the DVS warehouse a last night.  One and Two.  I’m sure with Jim on one of these things, there are a lot more wild photos to come.  Will we see another Death Gap?  Think I’ll just settle for this!  If you are into bikes like the Model C then go check out Cruiser Revolution for more info.
