This is what you’ve all been waiting for! It’s our new 2012 Sunday Complete Bike Flipbook. Trusted bikes like the PRO, EX, AM and Scout are in there as well as some new treats for you. First, the Spark is our new starter bike designed with the most modern geometry that will get the newest rider excited about BMX. Next, the Model C has been updated to a 22″ top tube, a 14.625″ rear end length and 7.75″ bar height. Lastly, we present our best bike ever! The new Forecaster Special combines the best aftermarket parts package with aftermarket Sunday Forecaster frame, Morning 2.1 forks and Tall T bars. Take a through the flipbook and put any questions you might have in the comments section below. Available towards the end of October.
Vital’s Game of Bike
Tomorrow, October 1st, Gary Young and Erik Elstran will be riding in Vital BMX’s Game of Bike contest at the Block in Orange, CA. If you can’t make it down there then watch the live streaming of the event right HERE. It will be an interesting time seeing what the guys come up with. Good luck!
Re-up: Spark Introduction
We just posted the Spark Intruduction video on Vimeo, but we wanted to let you know that the Spark is coming by the end of the October. This is a great bike for anyone looking to get started riding BMX and knows enough to pick a bike with the most modern geometry available. The 13.25″ rear end length, the 11.5″ bottom bracket height and the 75 degree headtube angle is exactly what top pros are riding. So, you can get started without having to deal with any of the complete bike geometry issues. Get the Spark and have fun right away.
Garrett Reeves Walls Deep
Here’s my shot of Garrett Reeves wallriding to pull out over the double kink rail during the Sunday in Tennessee trip that was covered in the most recent Dig Magazine. Have you seen Garrett’s Lotek video? If not then check the break for the video. So damn good!
New Freeze Stem now available!
Check out the new Freeze top-load stem that’s available from shops right now. This is the same stem that comes on all of our 2012 complete bikes, from the Spark to the PRO. Alex Magallan and Jim Cielencki have been using the Freeze since February and Full Factory sales guy, Logan Beyhl, has been running it on his trail bike for a long time now as well. The stem’s top cap is a 6061-T6 aluminum forging for additional reinforcement in the bar clamping area, and we’re able to deliver the Freeze to shops at an affordable price because it’s made with a ride-tested, cast aluminum body. The stem has a 34mm rise to maximize bar height, and a length of 52mm. The Freeze Stem is not a “catalog” part. It’s designed by us and it’s only available on Sunday completes and at your local bike shop. If you’re looking for a quality top-load at a great price, then this is it. Read more to see the full specs of the Freeze Stem.
Garrett Reeves/Lotek video
You really need to watch this Garrett Reeves video. Garrett has some of the best street eyes in BMX and this video from Lotek is proof. Not only can he find the most unique set ups, but he tends to pick some of the burliest ones as well. Now sit back and enjoy!
