Draper’s creation

Check out this huge landing that Scot Draper has been building in Austin.  It takes a lot of digging to build this thing.  Hopefully we can get some clips of him riding it soon.

Aaron Ross takes Most Wanted

Big congrats goes out to Aaron Ross for taking the Red Bull Most Wanted title at the event in Austin this weekend.  This event is so much fun and such a good idea.  Good job Aaron!

Here today, gone tomorrow!

Ride your spots today because they might be gone tomorrow.  This Wave-C carve on this narrow tight tranny in Austin has been rendered unrideable right now.  The building has been vacant for a long time, but not anymore.  This photo is from a month ago and I remember saying that I should come back for it.  Luckily, I did it that day.

Check out the Gif of this image in the Sunday banner and an interview with me at Old Guys Who Ride right HERE.

Quick Clip:
Alex Magallan

Here’s Alex Magallan‘s handy work in this photo-sequence that’s been turned into a video clip by Scott Marceau.  Two hop overs, two double peg grinds and a manual in grass gives you another reason why Alex is such a shredder on a bike!  Check out more photos from Scott at his website www.pushitastop.com.

Lee Dennis in ATX!

Canada‘s Lee Dennis is one of the toughest and nicest guys in BMX.  He posses amazing bike control and does it all with an effortless and casual approach.  Having a relaxed style is a great attribute.  This video is of his trip down to Austin in January.  He ended up taking a very tough crash which he wanted in the video.  He’s doing really well and should be back tearing it up really soon.  Filmed and edited by Tom Arkus.

Alex M:
ATX Edit!

Ohhhhh yeah! Here we go with another set of awesome Alex Magallan clips. These were filmed during his stay in Austin, Texas and it has everything from tech lines to big gaps and sometimes a mixture of both.

Thanks to Tom Arkus over at Vinyl BMX for putting this edit together!

Big News!

frontBack_card

Here are photos of my new business cards, note that the new address is Austin, Texas.  Yep, that’s right I’m joining everyone at OTX Design and moving to Austin on November 1st.  This is a big move for myself and Sunday, there’s big plans next year and I felt it was time for the move.  Austin will be the new home base for Sunday, so you’ll be able take care of your warranties, order new products and hear about our R&D.  See you in Texas in November!

Chris Hilbrich, lettin' the hands fly on the Model D.

Austin’s own Chris Hilbrich graced the July 2009 Model D Sunday ad in Ride BMX.  Chris is almost fully recovered from the broken thumb he got a month ago.  He cut his cast off last Sunday and is back at it.  In the ad, he had supporting help from myself riding the Model C.  These photos were taken on the first day the Model C’s were built up.  Not too bad for the first day riding a cruiser!
