Jake Seeley is going under the knife today to get his knee cleaned out. Not sure if he’s following Garrett Reeves’ lead, who had knee surgery last week, but Jake should be healed up soon and be back on his bike in just a few weeks. Good luck Jake and heal up quickly.
Some of the Sunday team will be visiting bike shops in New England at the end of September. Come hang out with Eric Litchenberger, Aaron Ross, Jake Seeley, Gary Young, Scot Draper and Jim Cielencki! Texas Toast may have come and gone, but the fun memories are still lingering. The weekend was so much fun, the whole PRO team came out to chill, ride and survive the hot weather. Three out of the five people that got through the Gauntlet of Death were from the Sunday team. Gary Young, Jake Seeley and Alex Magallan all made it through. Gary continued his good weekend by winning both the curved wallride contest and the dirt jump event. It was super windy and hot, but everyone had a blast. Can’t wait for the next one. We just received the August 2011 issue of Ride BMX in our office today and the team is well represented in the issue. First, Alex Magallan has the table of contents at a spot only he would see. Gary Young blasts a sick table out of a pool in the Odyssey ad and then he does an over toothpick on the subscription page. The team metalhead, Jake Seeley, talks about his love of metal in the Diversions section. As always the team shreds and if you look close enough then you’ll see a sneak peek of one of the 2012 complete bikes in the magazine as well.
Earlier this month, Gary Young, Lee Dennis, Jake Seeley and I went out to New Jersey to attend the 3rd Annual Ed’s Games in Vineland, NJ. Ed’s Bike Shop is easily one of the best shops in the country and we had a blast riding with all the local guys. We even got to session a wild bowl/ramp in the woods that had deer skulls around the outside. They even had a pet raccoon named Rocky. This ramp had just about everything you could imagine even a curved wall ride where a quaterpipe would normally be. Needless to say, we rode late into the night. Here’s a bunch of photos from Ed’s, the ramp and some days in NYC and Philly. We can’t wait til next year.

A few weeks back, Gary Young, Jake Seeley, Lee Dennis and myself headed out east to New Jersey to attend the 3rd annual Ed’s Games. ESPN just posted the video from the event which was a totally blast. Jake and I were lucky enough to attend the first one and this one was no different. So much fun! Can’t wait for next year.
Sunday is hitting the road this summer! We were on the east coast earlier this month, but now we are out on the west coming to a visit a shop near you.
