Chapped Clips

Remember when slappin’ fives was chill and chapped lips was the biggest thing we had to worry about? Back in March we whipped the van out to Las Vegas and flew in the rest of the team for 10 days of amazing spots, good times and dry climates. Everyone’s lips were chapped by day 2. Enjoy Brett Silva, Broc Raiford, Julian Arteaga, Aaron Ross, Gary Young, Erik Elstran, Jake Seeley, Alec Siemon, Jared Duncan, and Justin Schual in “Chapped Clips”.

2021 Sunday Bikes Preview

We are proud to introduce our 2021 Sunday complete bikes. You’ll quickly find that our new line is full of improvements once again this year. We are excited to introduce “Park” models in both the Primer and Forecaster categories. With a model-specific geometry that features accents like a lower standover height and an Odyssey Gyro kit with dual cables top and bottom, both the Primer and Forecaster Park models are built to shred right out of the box.

We are also happy to announce that Broc Raiford recently joined the Sunday Pro Team and we were able to include his signature Forecaster complete bike in the 2021 line. Additional improvements can also be found on our popular High-C 29er bikes. This year’s model features V-brakes, an Avid brake lever, a quick release seat post clamp for 27.2 posts, a revised gear ratio and an all-new handlebar design.

From our entry level 16” Blueprints to our 100% aftermarket Soundwave Special, the entire 2021 line features the vibrant colors and finishes that Sunday is known for and, as always, you can count on the durability, manufacturing quality and modern spec that has made Sunday the go-to brand for riders shopping for a new complete bike. We hope that you’ll enjoy checking out the new Sundays as much as we enjoyed making them. Thank you for your continued support!

Erik Elstran / Pro Part Interview

New Elstran interview up at OurBMX.com!

If filming video parts were a science then Erik Elstran would have a Ph.D. Not only are each of his video parts super memorable thanks to his extraordinarily creative ideas, but the level of his trickery is mindblowing as well. 2020 is shaping up to be a spectacular year in the Elstran video part library with a mega section in Madera’s ABD, followed by the Pro Part we released last week, and there’s still the X Games Real BMX part scheduled to drop in August, which according to Erik, will be “some of the best riding I’ve ever filmed.” Safe to say that’ll be an earthquake of a video part! For now, we caught up with Erik about all the above and talked about some of the big moves happening in his personal life as well.

Gary Young / DIG Setups

Hit up DIGBMX.com to check out Gary’s current ride.

Just prior to the Coronavirus pandemic gripping the U.S. (and most of the planet at this point) Sunday took a team trip to Las Vegas, Nevada early March for 10 days. This was possibly the last company BMX team trip to happen since then. We caught up with a few dudes on the team and dove into all the specs of their personal rides just before everyone flew home. A few days later, most cities (including Vegas) went into lockdown mode, and social distancing rules went into full effect. Up next is longtime DIG Staple and all-around shredder Gary Young and his Soundwave setup.

Head on over to Dig BMX to get a closer look at Erik Elstran’s Nightshift build.

Nightshift frame in Gloss Skyview and Classic White

Brand new Nightshift frames available now. Choose from Classic White or Skyview (galaxy vibe).

The Nightshift is 100% 4130 chromoly throughout, features super tough 41-Thermal heat-treating and comes with the proven Lifetime Warranty against bending, cracking and breaking.

You’ll find lots of design features on the Nightshift that are comparable to the top-of-the-line Soundwave, but this frame is built using traditional round tubing with unique internal gusseting for added strength.

15 Year Anniversary

True story. 15 years ago today, Sunday was born. Everyone thought it was a joke at the time, but here we are. Many thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years.

Here’s Jim Cielencki with a modern day move done many years ago.

Introducing our new Park Ranger frame

Introducing our new Park Ranger frame. This frame is designed specifically for technical park, transition and street riding.

The Park Ranger is unique to our frame lineup, and was created to meet the requests of friends and flow riders that were looking for this geometry in our frame offerings. The Park Ranger was also made so even more riders can experience the quality and innovations that Sunday is known for.

This new frame design draws inspiration from the Street Sweeper and makes use of its tube set and short chain stays to help create a tech driven frame with a steep head tube angle, a tall bottom bracket, hollow dropouts with integrated chain tensioners and a significantly lower standover.

Maca Grasset‘s Park Ranger

The Park Ranger includes all of the necessary (and fully removable) braking and Gyro tab hardware that park and transition riders look for when building a new bike. The frame’s front triangle makes use of traditional round Nightshift-style top and down tubes with proven internal gusseting for added strength.

Available in Gloss Turquoise or Gloss Black.
