So you remember back earlier this year when we said we weren’t going to make Second Wave frames in 20 inch? Then the internet expressed their disapproval and we decided to make some in 20 inch for you guys out there. Well, we finally got them made and they should be available in the next 2 weeks! Thanks for being patient!

Ian Schwartz has headed west to San Francisco for the winter! Winter has pretty much set in for most of the east, so Ian being the smart person he is, got out of Ohio for the winter. He should be out there for the next 5 months or so. Check out the last version of his frame, post-it note yellow, which is currently available right as we speak. Look for bars and forks to match the frame in 2 weeks!

Go over to Karl Poynter’s shop website at www.hardcoresportz.com and check out there new layout. The blog section is really good with some new content that isn’t seen on every site. As well as a whole new shop section that allows you to order anything you need. Look for Karl’s new Second Wave colorway coming early spring!

A few days ago, I was riding back from watching the Sabres game when I happened upon this random construction pile of mess. These spots are the best because they only last for a short period so you have to make use of them right away. It was cold as hell outside, not sure how that works cause hell is generally thought of as hot. Either way the cold alleviated my tendinitis long enough for my friend Jay to shoot a couple of random shots. The pile might be there tonight, I’ve got my fingers crossed.

Chris Hilbrich has been riding the Model-D for a few weeks now. He says if feels really good on trails which is exactly what we intended this frame for. The Model-D is designed for the trails with its longer rear end, higher bottom bracket and mellower headtube. We didn’t attach the trail name so we could disguise a light weight frame. We designed the frame around specific users. This is for trails where a Second Wave would be for street. Simple!

Here are a few photos of me riding the Model-C right after Interbike. I couldn’t run them without getting into trouble, but now I don’t have to worry about that anymore! Look for an update release date for all the new 2009 frames.

Aaron Ross Funday!
Here’s the check out of the new Aaron Ross Funday frame. The frame drawings have been finalized so its off to production now with an arrival date of after the first of the year.

Yep, we are leaving for Rochester in a little bit to go to the Red Bull Trick or Treat Jam at the old armory on Main St. Karl Poynter, Kevin Porter, Lil’ Anthony and myself are heading out to meet back up with Jeff Z and Aaron Ross. None of us have jumped a coffin or rode a Hearse before so this should be fun. Oh and Reez set up a fog machine too! Not sure if its a legal fog though! Haha! See you there!
Check out Karl Poynter‘s new colorway. We took a Sunday Second Wave frame with all the super good features and let Karl come up with his own paint job. What he did was use a coral red just around the top tube/seat tube junction and have the rest of the frame be Black Magic. Then we played off his name sort of by using arrows for the decals. Look for this early next year.
Check out more photos of the frame in the products page (under the 2nd Wave frame).
Eric Lichtenberger stop by the office for a pair of pedals and ended up leaving with a new bike. We showed this 2009 Ian Schwartz which is the first frame to have a built in Pivotal Post as our display bike at Interbike and it looked so good that Eric decided he’d like to ride it as his own. To be honest this is my favorite color that Sunday has ever done. The color is basically Post-It Note yellow and we were suppose to do a color similar to this for the original Wave frames that came out 2 years ago. I know it says 2009 colorway, but it should be available at shops by the first week of November so be on the look out. More frame info coming soon!
