First Sunday Friends Model C Bike Check!

View Gallery

Here is the first Sunday Friends Model C bike check!  This is Tom L‘s from Chicago who built up this silver Model C frame with silver Plus 4 Morning 24.1 forks and Black Magic 24umphs!  That’s right!  Black Magic bars are now available.  Thought we’d throw that surprise in there for you.  Look for Black Magic forks later on.  This is the second one without brakes besides the one Jim Bauer rides.  Looks so good!  If anyone else gets one built up please send photos to me!  There’s another surprise coming later this week!

Three Sweet Bikes!

These bikes looks great! Different set ups and completely Sunday! I like them all! The top one is Sean Zubek‘s from Cleveland, OH which is an original New Wave frame painted almost like the current Second Wave frame.  Next is Angie Zoppi‘s ocean blue Funday which looks even better with the pink rims!  Last is Landon Parenteau from Saskatchwan, Canada who has the Black “snow” Magic Second Wave.  Check out below for more photos!

Albe’s contest winner!

dinosaur

Remember the Sunday and Albe’s Tshirt contest back in February?  Well we never really announced the winner so here goes.  The winner is Thomas Szypula who did this awesome dinosaur graphic above.  There were way too many good ones, but Thomas’s took the cake or frame should I say.  Either way he chose to ride a 21″ Black Magic brakeless Second Wave frame.

Seth Peterson Bike Check!

Seth Peterson sent me photos of his new Black Magic Second Wave that he recently set up.  I was really psyched on his riding in the Team Dilly video It Do.  Pillar ride to handplant?  I like watching video parts that are surprising.  I guess who doesn’t, but sometimes you see the same things over and over.  Seth was already riding a Creamsicle Wave frame, so it wasn’t a stretch for him to get use to the new set up.  Can’t wait to see what else he does on his new Sunday!

Chris Mahaffey Bike Check

Check out this art studio bike check of Chris Mahaffey‘s Black Magic Second Wave Kit.  Don’t know Chris, well he filmed a great deal of Alex Magallan‘s upcoming video part in Up, Up and Away! He also filmed the Nashville video Nobody Special from 2007 which featured Alex, Nathan Williams, Talem Cowart and Shane Weston along with a few others. The bike check was shot by Andrew White of Nashville.  Check out more of his photography HERE!

Paul Horan Bike Check!

Paul Horan sent me some photos of his new 20″ Black Magic Sunday Second Wave set up that we hooked him up with.  Can’t wait to see what he does on it!  I know its rare to see a street rider these days with brakes.  Its sort of refreshing!  Click on the photo to see more of his bike!  It’s the first day of spring just so you know!

Purple Rain!

Check out Kurt Rasmusson’s Purple Rain Second Wave set up that was seen on the Odyssey site! This thing looks awesome! Subtle flashiness, not way over the top! So nice!

Karl Poynter Second Wave!

Karl Poynter's 2nd Wave

Check out Karl Poynter‘s new colorway. We took a Sunday Second Wave frame with all the super good features and let Karl come up with his own paint job. What he did was use a coral red just around the top tube/seat tube junction and have the rest of the frame be Black Magic. Then we played off his name sort of by using arrows for the decals. Look for this early next year.

Check out more photos of the frame in the products page (under the 2nd Wave frame).

Karl Poynter new bike photos!

Karl Poynter's black Sunday

Karl Poynter

Sunday has gone black! Here is a photo of Karl Poynter’s new set up. He’s been riding the same blue prototype set up for quite awhile, so we got him one of the Black Magic frames to try something different.

The funny thing is Sunday went from all wild colors to now all black. On the UK trip we just finished up, everyone was riding a black frame except for Aaron Ross’s Funday frame. Thought it was ironic, but its real good to know that we can change it up and the product is still the same. Look for Karl Poynter colorway soon!

Jake Seeley’s new ride!

Jake Seeley's 2nd Wave

Jake Seeley just built up a 20.75 Black Magic Second Wave shaved headtube PROTOTYPE. He’s helping me test out the new batch of samples that we just received. My bike also has one if you didn’t notice then just scroll down a few posts and check it out. Our original samples from Interbike never had the properly machined headtubes. Once the proper ones were figured out, it was time to make prototypes again. Enjoy Jake’s bike!
