Jim Cielencki’s Wave-C

View Gallery

We’ve never had an offical bike check on the site of my Wave-C that I’ve been riding since last October, so I’ll show it now.  The bike is all Black Magic with this one except for the red spokes.  Originally it had a black stem, but I’ve been testing an Odyssey stem prototype which only is in high polish.  The Wave-C has a shorter backend which allows for better manuals and bunnyhopping.  We still offer it in the 21.25″ size, but now we have an even larger size of 22″.  The bar height was increased using a topload stem and our new 7.75″ high 24umph XL bars.  This bike has been so much fun!  Frame and fork available now with the bars arriving sometime around the beginning of June.

Magallan’s bike check on Ride

Alex Magallan has his Forecaster bike check up on Ride BMX today.  Go check it out HERE.  If you’re wondering about the stem, it’s called the Sunday Freeze OEM stem which some of the team guys are testing now.  This one is for our completes, but we are working on an aftermarket stem which could be available sometime late in the year.

Spring has Sprung!

Looks like trail season is getting under way in Long Island!  Steve Ciron sent over this pic of his Model D at the trails.  Go out and enjoy it!

Hipstomatic Flipbook:
Kona/Atlanta

Mike Gonzalez and I took off last weekend to ride street and parks in Atlanta as well as stop at one of America’s oldest skateparks, Kona, in Jacksonville, Florida.  It was a long drive to Kona, but it was nevertheless worth it.  I hadn’t been there since the CFB contest there over 10 years ago, so it was really nice to go back there.  Mike had never been there so it was a completely new experience for him.  Old school snake runs, very messed up cement quarterpipes and an even scarier concrete halfpipe made for a fun day. The pool that I loved on Roadfools 7 was changed, but it was still fun.  If you’re ever in north Florida and want to ride a classic park then go there.  After Kona, we headed up to Atlanta where we met up with Alex Magallan and Andrew White. Traveling is a lot of fun.

Duffs trip with Alex and Jake

Jake Seeley and Alex Magallan went on a Duffs trip to Houston that was recently covered in Ride UK. They said they had a lot of fun searching for spots around the city. Both have some wild moves in here, so check out the edit from their trip found on ESPN.
