Ride To Glory

I’m not sure if anyone of us found any glory on Ride UK‘s Ride to Glory trip, but check out Aaron Ross, Joe Cox and Jim Cielencki on Odyssey‘s section of the trip.  The trip was a lot of fun, the van was terrible, the weather cooperated most of the time, Road Chef wasn’t amazing, Rom Skatepark was amazing though, Liverpool wasn’t so sketchy, Aaron is addicted to IPhone games and we came in 4th out of 5.  Trip was fun, but next time we need a working GPS and a van that shifts gears properly!

Reed Stark edit!

Reed Stark has been on the Sunday flow program since the beginning of the year.  When he’s not tearing it up on the basketball courts, he’s out riding and filming edits like the one above which was filmed and edited by his brother Kyle Stark.  Reed’s part in Team Dilly‘s It Do was amazing!  Check it out HERE.

Dan Sirkin Model C

sirkin

Dan Sirkin sent me a photo of his new Model C all built up!  Dan’s a super good flatlander who goes way back into the Ohio scene.  He even had a bio in the very last issue of Go Magazine back in 1992.  Not sure if we’ll see any flatland on the Model C, I’m sort of hoping.  Check out Dan’s shop, Solon Bicycle, if you are ever up near Cleveland.

Eric L. Wallpaper

Eric Lichtenberger

We are going Eric Lichtenberger over load this week!  Here he is double tire ride down a long, round rail from our Up, Up and Away premiere trip to Boston in May.  This is the print version, the footage was in his September web EDIT.  If you were at Interbike then most likely you were able to grab this as a poster.  Otherwise you’ll have to use this as a wallpaper by downloading these links: Wide Screen or Standard Monitor.  Photo by Jeff Allen.

Wave Toptube Update!

View Gallery

Eric Lichtenberger had a bike check of his Third Wave prototype a few days ago, but we didn’t get to show you close ups of the Wave on the toptube.  The photos aren’t the best, but you will notice a bunch of scratches and dings, but no major dents.  The idea behind the Wave toptube is the same as the one for the downtube.  Each small Wave is stronger and stiffer than a non-waved tube, it’s easier to dent a larger tube then a smaller one.  We’ve been doing the Wave downtube since 2007 and it’s been proven countless times.  If you dent either one then you significantly decrease the strength of the front end.  The Wave toptube will only be offered on next spring’s Third Wave frame.  Look for more photos of the Wave downtube including the cable channel on the underside next week!

Jake Seeley advert

Jake Seeley

Here’s our latest print ad featuring Jake Seeley!  Luc-e grind to smith down a double kink is an amazing trick!  For more Jake footage check out his bio in the upcoming issue of Props.  I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak of during our Utah trip and it’s pure Jake.  Look for that out soon!

Seth Peterson Cruisin!

Well today I watched the Halo get done and now it’s Seth Peterson on the ESPN site doing the mile long line!  It’s not exactly one line, but it has a very spontaneous feel without too much restarting.  Kyle Stark gets a big thumbs up for this video! It’s a lot of work trying to follow with a camera.  Now if I can only find a video of someone doing a decade out of a wallride.

Gary Young Bike Check!

Here is Gary Young‘s built up Third Wave prototype!  We just announced he that he got on Sunday yesterday, but he’s been riding this bike since just after Interbike.  His quote was “This feels so good!  The geometry makes simple stuff like manuals and bunnyhops so much easier”  Hopefully we’ll have a web video of Gary in action on the bike.  Check below for his parts list!
