Model C Bike Checks! Part 1

View Gallery

Pablo Castano sent me over some photos of his olive green Model C with Plus 4 Morning 24.1 forks and 24umph bars all built up!  Wow, does this look good!  Not sure if its the photos or what, but I’m really feeling the colors on this one.  The cranks and pedals work so well and the green grips work even better.  Can’t wait to hear about this bike in the trails.

Mike Gonzalez Model D!

Mike Gonzalez has been getting some help from Sunday and Odyssey for awhile. We recently hooked him up with the only Black Magic Model D that was made. I know I’m going to hear you should make it in that color, which is completely understandable because this looks great. Either way Model D’s are available in olive green and silver right now. So if you are looking for something dependable and stable in the air while riding trails then this is the bike for you!

Jim C speaks on Defgrip!

Well since I can’t ride right now, I get stuck riding this thing around.  Either way it’s a lot of fun.  Did you read the interview I had on Defgrip where I talk about Up, Up and Away?  If not then follow this link to check it out!  Also, if you get the latest Dig there’s another interview in there about the Sunday video.  Look for premier dates announced this week!

Mike Taylor web video on Dig!

Mike Taylor shares a new web video with his buddy Nailz over on the Dig site!   BSD filming up in Scotland.  As always these guys are dialed, so they probably banged out all this in an afternoon.  Might have been a few days, but nevertheless it is good.  In other Mike Taylor news, he’s making his way to NYC around the middle part of June, so that will be a treat.

Aaron Ross update!

Aaron Ross has a Top 5’s over at ESPN.  It’s pretty good and I was surprised to find out how many injuries he’s had from trampolines!  In other Aaron news, his Fluorange Funday frames are on their way to shops as we speak.  Also, he is currently on the Etnies Tour, I believe they are at Ollie’s Skatepark around Cincinnati today.

Ian Schwartz discusses Up Up and Away!

Ian Schwartz is one of the more unique riders in BMX today.  And I’m sure after you see his video part in the upcoming Sunday video Up, Up and Away, you’ll agree with me.  As a teaser I did a simple interview where he discusses the trials and tribulations of traveling, filming and making his upcoming section, this is the first of a two part interview.  Look for interviews with the rest of the team along with other random tid bits over the course of the next few weeks.

Click on the photo above to get a sneak peak at the latest Ian Schwartz limited color!  This is the first frame with built in pivotal post!  Not only do you get that, but you get Sunday 8mm hollow dropouts with built in chain tensioners, Wave downtube to prevent most dents, Director style wishbone and Odyssey’s 10 year old 41Thermal Heat Treating process along with a host of other features.  Maroon is currently available in most places, but if you don’t see it then ask your local shop to call Blackout, QBP, Custom or SBS to get their hands on one.  This photo was taken on Ian’s dad’s farm which Ian works on a few times a week.
