Funday PRO Complete!

Funday PRO

Here’s the photo of the Funday PRO complete bike!  Looks like a bike Aaron Ross would ride, right?  There’s so many Odyssey parts on this bike it’s nuts!  From Twombolts to Aaron Ross Grips!  This might be one of the best parts packages on a $655 complete bike ever!  Check this LINK to see all the specs!

Ride To Glory

I’m not sure if anyone of us found any glory on Ride UK‘s Ride to Glory trip, but check out Aaron Ross, Joe Cox and Jim Cielencki on Odyssey‘s section of the trip.  The trip was a lot of fun, the van was terrible, the weather cooperated most of the time, Road Chef wasn’t amazing, Rom Skatepark was amazing though, Liverpool wasn’t so sketchy, Aaron is addicted to IPhone games and we came in 4th out of 5.  Trip was fun, but next time we need a working GPS and a van that shifts gears properly!

Jim Cielencki Bike Check

FundayJim

Here is the Fluorange Funday I just built up to try out some new dimensions.  I’ve been riding the my 24″ Model C for 2 months now and it was time to change it up and ride a 20 for a little while.  I put together the Funday because of its 13.5 rear end length and the 11.5 inch bottom bracket height.  The idea is that the lower bb will keep the bike stable and not too loopy while still allowing it to tailwhip and spin better.  I grew up riding long rear end frames so having something this short is foreign to me.  Hopefully the lower bb will counter act the short rear end.  If not then its back to the Second Wave.  I’ll update you over the next few weeks.  Here’s my parts list below.

Aaron Ross is the best!

As if you didn’t know!  Aaron Ross is easily one of the nicest and most sincere pros in BMX today.  He told me about how he was meeting an 11 year old kid named Bryan who is suffering from cancer during the X Games.  He asked Sunday and all his other sponsors if we could do something for him.  Of course everyone helped out.  Here is an ESPN video of him when he met up with Brian the other day.

Fluro Yellow Available now!

Funday_Yellow_Small

The latest edition of Aaron Ross‘s fluorescent Funday color series is now available through our distributors!  I’ve heard a lot of people are psyched on the fluorescent yellow color.  Jake Seeley is riding it and he says it almost glows at dusk.  So crazy!  Your shop can call Blackout, QBP or SBS to order!  Look for frame features and geometry after the jump.  More fluorescent yellow photos can be found here.

Super Sweet Funday!

funday custom big

Marc over at StrictlyBMX sent me a photo of this custom built up Aaron Ross Ocean Blue Funday frame with matching Odyssey forks and bars.  Then add in all the other pink Odyssey parts and you get this sweet bike!  Looks amazing if you ask me!  Follow the link to Strictly BMX’s site and tell me what is going on with the splash page photo besides the wall ride to 180.

Aaron Ross and Team Texas take Dew Tour!

Aaron Ross, Sean Sexton, Danny Hickerson and Walter Peringer‘s team just won the street/filming video contest at the Dew Tour in Chicago!  The riding is so good, I’d love to tell you all about it, but you should watch the video!  Big congratulations to all the guys on Team Texas!  Do you like how Aaron’s Fluorange Funday frame matches the rails?

Aaron’s (iPhone) Video Bike Check

Two video posts in one day?! The new iPhone has video capabilities now and we decided to play around with it. While visiting Austin, we used it to film a bike check with Aaron Ross and his new Fluorange Funday!
